Let's go out with a mindful bang!

Dear Mindful Community,

Big Elephant announcement!

This Fall is the final Elephant Academy—ever.

The time has come to retire our longstanding, well-loved, live "Find your Voice" course. I've offered it many times and it's been the best thing we get to do, together. I've always said that. But it's time.

So: let's go out with a mindful bang! This September is your last chance to take the leap into writing and meditation, into finding your voice and writing your heart out in community, with Elephant.

If you’ve been thinking you'd like to enroll some day, that time is now. ~ Waylon

What is Find your Voice?

Find your Voice is a 9-week, live, do-it-from-anywhere course with mentorship, community, and guidance from Elephant Journal's Editor-in-Chief, Waylon Lewis, and our Editors.

This course is about learning how to express oneself genuinely, directly, powerfully. It's about the fundamental life skill of finding your own voice, finding the power in that voice, and using it to be of benefit.

You’re here to make friends with yourself more fully, share your voice, and in so doing relieve yourself of your lifelong confusions and inspire others to do the same.

And we'll do that together, through writing (and a little meditation).

~
Who is this course for?

Do you have a heart? Do you have a voice? Do you have experiences, confusion, wisdom?

Have you long wanted to share your stories but somehow avoided doing so?

Are you ready to take a (wholesome) leap into your own life?

This course is for you.

This course isn't (just) about writing, and it isn't (just) for writers. It's for all those who want to find your voice, & be of benefit.

Questions? Drop us an email (we love to chat).

Accountability Buddy

We have one final surprise up our sleeves.

When you enroll for just $1 more (!), you can gift the course to a friend or loved one to do the course with you. Doing it with a friend can make the experience feel fun, comfortable, and help you each stay accountable to your goals.

Being a writer is not required. We're all human, and we all have a voice, and it's that voice we'll practice befriending, finding, and sharing.

Meet our VIP Elephant Academy guest for 2024:

Lynn is Waylon's favorite writer on Elephant. Ever.

Listen to them when they "met" for the first time on Walk the Talk Show and spoke about writing, finding your voice as a writer, how to write about your life in a cathartic, genuine, way and Lynn’s thread through much of her writing.

They'll speak more about this in our 2024 Find your Voice course when Lynn is our VIP guest on October 9th. Read more of her writing on Elephant, here.

"My only regret is that I didn't take this course years ago."

"If you're looking for a place to begin or improve your writing and evolve into a better human—this is your place. The folks on this journey will welcome you into the fold. The writing lessons in the course are spot on—practical and applicable. The only downside is that it ends."

~ Dhana Musil

Entering Elephant Academy marked a profound change for me.

This supportive community encourages self-expression and celebrates everyone's unique voice. It goes beyond writing, fostering personal and creative growth through shared time and insight. Joining the "Find Your Voice" course invited me to explore my inner self and connect with other inspirational people on a similar journey. We all shared in a deep learning experience that cultivated our ability to express ourselves meaningfully. I dreamt of being a published writer for so long; now I am, thanks to my journey to find my voice.

“I've loved every bit of the Academy. I’m the best version of myself because of this course, and I’ve never felt more like me. For someone who's felt lost most of her life, that's huge.”

~ Sharon DeNofa

“I had been writing for ages, but the Academy helped me hone my skills and find a balance between writing my heart and writing something that would be of benefit. The publication of my words has opened up unexpected doors in the years since. And the connections I made will be forever. Huge thanks, Waylon, for allowing us into your beautifully crafted world.”

~ Jessica Chardoulias

“Elephant Academy has given me the tools to become a writer with authenticity. I didn't know I needed that going in, but I realize now it was the most significant missing piece to what I needed in writing and living, both.”

~ Greg Simmons
