You don't need an audience to start.

You can start writing and marketing your book right now, even if you don't have a single follower. The most important thing is to build a community as you go—and we'll show you how.

Use Instagram to write your book.

There are few things more intimidating than a blank page. Especially a blank page the length of an entire book. Break it up into bite-sized posts. Serialize as you go. All while promoting your soon-to-be book and building a loyal audience.

Get the magic ingredient: community connection.

Learn how to leverage comments, conversations, and feedback on your writing.

We learned this the hard way so you can learn it the easy way.

Waylon H. Lewis is the author of two books. His first book, Things I would like to do with You, touches on modern relationships from a Buddhist point of view.

His second book, It's Never too Late to Fall in Love with your Life, is simple: daily quotes with commentary to start your mornings off right. With a mix of everyday Buddhism, practical tips, humor, criticism, and mindful life lessons learned the hard way, this book distills everything you (or a young friend or loved one) might want to learn.

Both books are published independently, using the same tools you'll learn in this course.
